Life is so, so great right now.
Guys…. my life has gotten a hell of a lot more awesome recently.
- I get an amazing and simply wonderful boyfriend that loveslovesloves to spend time with me and holds me all of the times. I can’t tell you how freaking happy he makes me, guys. I’m on a perma-cloud 9!
- I get the Palmetto Fellows Scholarship, which is $2000 more than I had before that.
- I’m going to Atlanta with my boyfriend and his brother to help them film something for USA Today. USA TODAY, GUYS. It’s an over night trip and I’m looking forward to it! It’s going to be an awesome experience. (And I get to sleep in the same room with twins…. that’s something to brag about, right? no? okay… imma go derp in the corner then.)
- I’ve graciously been asked to go back to Palmetto Girl’s State this year! Not as a junior counselor, however as a media correspondent which is even better. I’ll be the photographer and videographer for the entire week, and I’ll produce a crap ton of videos and I’m so so so thrilled about it!
- I GET TO GO BACK TO GIRL’S STATE. It’s GIRLS STATE. Which that should be awesome enough on its own! :D:D
- Dell, the computer company, has invited me to attend a conference where I will be one of 5 students from across the nation to speak in a panel in front of a bunchhhh of people about schools integrating technology in San Diego, California. All expenses paid.. That’s such an incredible honor, I can’t even begin to tell you how excited about that I am. It’s going to be so, so awesome and I’m going to get my name out there. This is such a big opportunity as a film maker for making contacts I need to have. They’ve had keynote speakers such as Steve Jobs and Bill Gates before… I just can’t.. even.
- I get to vacation in LA this year! That’s thrilling, because it’s one of my favorite places ever! And I’m staying during VidCon, so there’s a high chance I might see some of my favorite YouTubers!
- By the end of June, I’ll have produced over 100 videos in a 2 month time span… that’s a personal victory to me. :]
I’m so blessed. Life is so good right now. :]
